McFarland Community Ice Arena, Mcfarland, WI – Rink Facility Manager

 

McFarland Community Ice Arena,  a non-profit community based facility in McFarland, WI is seeking a Rink Facility Manager for their well maintained single sheet facility.  The rink has no debt and a handsome rainy day fund held for emergencies.  The ice arena serves as the home rink to the local High School varsity hockey teams, youth hockey programs, award winning figure skating programs as well as Learn-to-Skate programs and adult hockey leagues.

The Rink Facility Manager is responsible for the entire facility and complete operation.  This includes ice scheduling, coordinating with vendors and customer, facility maintenance and managing staff.  The rink facility manager will report directly to the president of the board of directors.    We are looking for a self starter who is motivated and requires minimal supervision.  Of course, finding and selling additional hours of ice is of prime importance. 

We are looking for an individual with strong mechanical capabilities, quality people skills and desire to excel.  CIT certification is a plus but we are willing to invest in our employees.

Job Opening

Sun Prairie Ice Arena, Sun Prairie, WI – Ice Arena Manager

Sun Prairie Ice Arena, a community facility in Sun Prairie, WI is seeking an Ice Arena Manager for their new 2-sheet multi-use ice arena opening in January 2014.  The ice arena serves as the home rink to two (2) High School varsity hockey teams, boys & girls youth hockey programs, figure skating programs as well as Learn-to-Skate programs and Adult hockey leagues.

The Ice Arena Manager must plan, coordinate, schedule, and direct all activities within the facility and work to increase programming through the community and surrounding areas.  This position must independently manage the facility by coordinating any and all volunteers and staff.  In addition the Arena Manager will be responsible for facility, adult league management, as well as promotions through web and print mediums.
